I have always wondered what does Motivational true stories do for students? It energises us, put us back into track. Many a times we experiences failures. We wanted certain things to happen but it didn’t happen. We get frustrated, we get so low. Something is needed to put us back to track. True stores freshens us up. It make us realise that these failures that happen in life, actually happens in real, and to everyone.
Motivational Real life Story : The Humble Beginning
I have been selling garments from the age of 15 . Boys and girls of my age used to be playing in the playground , but I was selling garments from food to door. This was just to support my family condition, which was very poor. All my classmate used to live near my locality and they used to see me selling garments going door to door. They used to tease me for doing what I was doing. I never said anything when they bullied me, but when alone I felt sad and used to cry. One day a teacher saw me crying and enquired “why are you crying alone?”
I told her “ma’am my classmates are making fun of me for selling garments”
My teacher cajoled me and said “ no work is big or small and you must be proud that you are helping your family by being a pillar of their strength”. These words of the teacher warmed my heart. I felt proud that day and moved with my head held high.
I used to get Rs 500 a month, and I had to work very hard to get that. I did get that working very hard. One day I got an opportunity to work in a computer centre. I grabbed the opportunity and now I was earning Rs2000. I had little amount of money to spare now. So I visited a Mall one day. I was so excited to be there. So many shops and so much of glittering. There was a vacancy in the mall and the pay was better Rs 5000.
Time just flies away and I had become 17 yr old girl. I completed my class 10 exams. After class 10th I went a different town where my father was working. He was working very hard. He was in a garment factor. I said “ I would also work with you. Your burden would be less”
He said “No way, this is not what you should be doing”
I said “give some of your product. I would sell it”
After so many years I took up the challenge again to do door to door selling of some of the garment product. I sold that product in a matter of few hours. From then on I was also a employee of that company and we both started earning a good salary. I was good at sales and so I also started training Management students on Marketing. I felt proud that being a 10th class I was teaching Management graduates. It gave me a great sense of proudness in teaching those students.
Now the company Owner was going to shut shop. My dad Took the courage and asked him to hand over the company to him. He said that he would run the company. So I along with my dad ran that company to great success. The success of that company helped us. This success led to the acquiring of different amenities in life like buying a house and siblings marriage etc.
Again the tide changed and we started coming down. Now we were in debt. Again we work very hard and some how manage to clear the debt. The business is slowly picking up and probably soon we would be in the upswing.
Conclusion & What This Real Life Story Teaches
Life is roller coster, peeks and downfall happens in life, one should not be afraid of all that. The job of humans is to do work or karma, that is what is under his control, the outcome in totality is not under his control. So why worry about something which is not under my control. The purpose of humans is to do Karma leave the rest to the outcome of the super power.
